Vikings Invade Camp Birch
Prepare for an epic saga because Vikings are landing at Camp Birch for Summer Camp 2026! Scouts will embark on legendary quests, brave exciting challenges, and explore every corner of camp in true Viking spirit.
Set sail on an epic journey because adventure awaits at Cub Scout Overnight Camp - Camp Birch’s introduction to the thrill of summer camp! This experience is open to Cub Scouts entering 1st through 5th grade in the upcoming fall and their parent, guardian, or family.
At Cub Scout Overnight Camp, everyone will enjoy the classic camp adventures:
-
Swim in our Olympic-size pool
-
Sail the waters of our 6-acre lake
-
Conquer the 40-foot climbing tower
-
Test their aim in archery, BB guns, and slingshots
-
Craft treasures in Handicraft
- Explore the wild lands around camp in the Nature Lodge
Plus, Scouts will have the chance to embark on exciting elective adventures designed for all ranks — different from the more skill-focused adventures offered to Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts. This allows older Scouts to experience camping with their den, return with their family, and try new challenges to earn completely different electives.
Get your Viking spirit ready — adventure, learning, and legendary memories await!

Information Guide
The Information Guide contains everything you need to know about Cub Scout Overnight Camp at Camp Birch!
Adult Leadership
All Tigers (youth entering 1st grade in the upcoming fall) MUST have an adult partner in attendance the entire time they are at camp. This is a National Scouting America policy.
All youth attending Cub Scout Overnight Camp must be registered in Scouting and under the supervision of their parent/guardian or an adult who has agreed to be responsible for that Scout.
Camp isn’t just fun for Scouts. It’s a great way for parents and leaders to engage and reconnect with their Cub Scouts. While program areas will be run by our enthusiastic camp staff, we rely on the assistance of our registered adult volunteers and parents to help provide supervision and encouragement to their Cub Scouts.
Medical Form
All campers (youth and adults) are required to have parts A & B of the Medical Form. In part B, the immunization record must be completed and include dates. The date of the tetanus vaccine must be within the last 10 years. Medical forms are due upon check-in at camp.
Other Forms
